Caroline Torti's work as a choreographer, director, and creative director, has been viewed by millions and featured in prominent arenas/theatres across Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia.
With her distinct eye for understanding and perfecting movement in film, and a powerful architectural style for moving bodies on stage, she has a unique approach that is deeply rooted with intent and effortlessly evokes emotion from the viewer. Torti’s body of work includes: Cirque Du Soleil “SPIRIT”, HBO’s We’re Here, NBC’s The Umbrella Academy, Disney’s SPIN, Cirque Eloize, Art on Ice Switzerland, So You Think You Can Dance Vietnam, Heroes Reborn, The Canadian Country Music Awards; YTV’s ‘The Next Star’ and ‘Summer Beach Bash’, amongst many others.
Internationally renowned musical acts including Sam Smith; Melanie C (Sporty Spice!), Serena Ryder, Aloe Blacc, James Blunt and Emilie Sande have all entrusted Torti with creative work, while global brands Carlsberg, Calvin Klein, Oh Henry and Disney are just a few of the commercial credits in her portfolio.
Torti is also co-founder of Hallowed Grounds, a production company revered for its highly creative and impactful storytelling methods. Under the Hallowed Grounds moniker, she has directed work for Canada's Drag Race Winner Priyanka, The National Ballet of Canada, LOKRE, Jocelyn Alice, and a 25 video digital content series for Hulu/CBC's 'Utopia Falls'.
